Brooding shed, chick Shed, Grower shed and Layer shed are the stage based cage manufacturing.

1. Brooding shed

A brooder is a place of safety where baby chicks are kept warm, fed, watered and cared for until they are able to care for themselves”. The chicken brooder cage is generally used for chicks before the age of 140 days, generally adopts 3-4 tiers of chicken farm equipment. The total length may be determined depending on the size of the chicken coop breeding dimensions.

2. Chick shed

A chick shed is a place where chicks are grown as a group in single cage up to particular period after which it will be transferred to grower shed.

3. Grower shed

A grower shed is a place where chickens are grown with a larger space as they need large area to grow. In each cage 2,4 or 6 chicks are kept according to the variety of birds.

4. Layer shed

Layer cage is also known as battery cage or poultry cage, which is used for rearing egg- laying chickens after growing up to 12 weeks or 16 weeks. The biggest advantage of layer cages is that it increases egg production to 98%. It is very easy to handle chicken waste and reduce disease transmission.
